I am looking for ancestors of Emanuel Aldinger of Hoffnungstal Russia. I know he had at least 2 children. Magdalena born in 1881 & she is my great grandmother who married Jakob Konrad & they immigrated to the Kulm, ND, US in 1902. Her brother, Edward Aldinger was born about 1888 & immigrated in 1910. According to the ship manifest he was going to see his sister Magdalena Konrad in Kulm, ND.

Hello, I am the grandaughter of Ellen Viola Aldinger b. 1907 in Vermillion, Erie, OH. Her father is John Ralph, b. 1869 in Brownhelm, Lorain, OH. His father is Henry Aldinger (probably Johann Heinrich Aldinger or Allinger) b. in Germany, d. Oct 1883 in Vermillion, married to Margaret (Maggie) who d. around 1894 in Vermillion. Henry was a farm laborer who served in the civil war, didn't read or write English, and had probably immigrated by the year 1861. I'm trying to find more information--maybe some of the Ohio Aldingers on this website will be able to help me out! Thanks so much in advance!

Rudolf was very instrumental in our Aldinger family history in Germany and he was so very kind, caring, and considerate to the American Aldinger family members who visited Fellbach and our German Aldinger family. We send our deepest sympathy to Rudolf's wife, Hannelore, and his family... Sibylle, Andrea, Frank, Jorg, Andre', and Schwaegerin Hannelore. I will greatly miss Rudolf but I will "treasure" each memory I enjoy with him, especially in 1994.

Because my "grammy" Gladys remarried our family has never really had much contact with the Aldinger side. I would love to hear from anyone!
Even though my grandmother and great grandmother have passed away, my Aunt Shirley and Uncle Dick, as well as my mom and Uncle Bill would be amazed if I could actually find some relatives.

Her parents were Christian Aldinger and Catharine Alwine who m.in Lancaster, PA in 1837. He was b. October 18, 1815 in Wittenberg, Germany.
